Education Hour continues with a Bible Study led by Pastor Rick. This 8-session series, that runs until July 19th, features a study created by Louie Giglio who takes us through the book of Colossians to help us form a complete picture of Jesus.

This deep dive into the book of Psalms with Bible professor Sandra Richter will do three things: (1) it will tutor us in what honest faith in hard times looks like; (2) we will be reminded of who we are and who God is; and (3) we will see that we do not walk alone, but we will find our way back to the Lord of Heaven and Earth who has never ceased to hear the cries of his people. Explorer’s Bible Study has been a held at Good Shepherd for nearly thirty years. We meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM with a break for the Christmas Holiday and for Summer. This is an in-depth Bible study, that is written and planned to bring people to a closer walk with God. I can promise you that you will learn something new from this year’s study. 

The men’s group, Bagels, Bible Study & Brotherhood, meets from 9-10 AM on Saturdays in the House of Prayer at Good Shepherd. We do take one Saturday out of the month to volunteer with our church’s Utah Food Bank Distribution. 

We are presently studying the book of Proverbs. We are utilizing “God’s Word for Today”, from Concordia Publishing House. For more information, contact the church officexq 

Children’s Church continues this Sunday at 9:30 AM. Children will accompany their parents into the Sanctuary for the start of the service. After a short Children’s Message, they will be led into Serendipity Room for Bible based activities.

Every Wednesday night the Junior and Senior High youth of Good Shepherd and their friends are invited to join us for COMMUNITY Youth Group. Students gather in The Trench (located downstairs) for an evening of small group Bible study, games, worship and some great fellowship. Various service projects and offsite events are scheduled throughout the year. For more information contact the church office.
