About Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has certainly transformed since its first worship service on November 5, 1961 at Goff Mortuary. Pastors have blessed our lives and our church as they have come and gone. A variety of rooms have been added and renovated to fit the growing needs of our church and community. Thanks to the God-sized vision of our original charter members, many of our rooms are used by community groups on a daily basis. We are dedicated to our community and strive to share our resources with our neighbors.

At the heart of every organization is a purpose. Our joy is to CONNECT to God and one another, to GROW in maturity in Christ, and to SERVE in the power of the Holy Spirit. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church offers a variety of worship services to accommodate everyone and communion is served at every service. We continue to enhance our ministries with the intent to minister and provide fellowship for all ages. With God’s help, we support missions and work to expand our world ministry focus.

Here at Good Shepherd, we are thankful for the wonderful members of our church family and ask that you join us as we pray first and pray always, continuing to seek God’s will for His church.

Through worship, fellowship, and service we show God’s goodness and kindness in the world.
