WHAT TO EXPECT
When you visit Good Shepherd, you’ll notice that we’re a “come as you are” church. If you feel like dressing up, that’s great. If you want to come in shorts and flip flops, that’s fine too. We find joy in being together in the presence of God.
Traditional Worship
Our traditional 8:00 AM worship service includes liturgy, traditional hymns, organ music, choir, bell choir and communion. It is a one hour service with time for fellowship and coffee after worship.
Blended Worship
Blended 9:30 AM worship service has a traditional order of service, choir, special music and communion. We worship together with a full worship team that leads us in older and newer worship songs.
Contemporary Worship
Our 11:00 AM worship service is our “come as you are,” contemporary service. There are certain aspects of worship that make a liturgical order of service. Confession and absolution, invocation, prayers for mercy, songs of praise, offering, the reading of the word, preaching, confessions of faith, and Holy Communion. All of these things will exist in the third service, but you might not recognize them unless you know what you’re looking for.
